The module is designed to expose students to in-depth content of English curriculum subject passed at Ordinary Level with a C or better. The content covered includes the topics Defining Language, Functions of Language and Introduction to Phonetic; Phonology; Semantics; and Syntax. The module provides opportunity for students to study and acquire Advanced level knowledge in English, which should equip students with subject-content expertise necessary for them to give subject-specific advice as subject coordinators at school level.
