This course is intended to provide student teachers with necessary knowledge and skills needed in conducting educational research. It serves to give the student teacher exposure to different approaches to enable them to conduct qualitative and quantitative research projects in ECD. The course also introduces student teachers to appropriate handling, analysis and interpretation of educational data. Emphasis therefore will be placed on the appropriate choice and interpretation of educational statistics and qualitative data interpretation techniques.
