ECD 306
A continuation of ECD 206, the course broadens the student teachers’ understanding of the dynamic nature of critical issues that may impact on ECD learners from time to time. Currently issues of social justice, HIV/AIDS, Population Education, Child Rights and Welfare, Globalization, Vocational and Technical Education, Education and the Law are some of the critical issues examined in this course. The depth and scope of these topics allow wide reading and critical analysis of issues inherent in each one of them.
