This course aims to acquaint students with the basic biomechanical knowledge, principles and methods for analysis and the improvement of human motor abilities. The course focuses students to study on body levers and functions, biomechanical characteristics of movements, motion, projectiles, forces, work, energy, power and related calculations. It covers interaction between external and internal force fields (forces of elastic deformation, resistance, friction, drag, specific environmental factors, applied biomechanics in selected sports activities, cinematographic methods, video-computer analysis and modelling of movement patterns and motor activities, statics, dynamics, kinematics and kinetics.
